Who We Are

Welcome to 92.5 Phoenix FM, a community radio station that provides a voice for Dublin 15. We currently broadcast 24/7 to the Dublin 15 area on 92.5 FM and to the world via our online stream, morning, noon and night. Our programming reflects the wide range of views and interests within the community through talk programmes on a variety of topics such as arts, sports, news, current affairs, local history, religious topics, and many more. Specialist music, emerging local bands, and theatre and musical societies are also broadcast regularly.

92.5 Phoenix FM is a full member of CRAOL, a like-minded collective of community radio stations supporting and developing the community radio movement in Ireland. We are also a registered charity and operate as a not-for-profit, built by volunteers. We’re always looking for community members to join our station: whether you have an interest in presenting or want to avail of free training on our sound desk, we would love to hear from you. Submit our online form and gain invaluable experience while helping shape the voice of the Dublin 15 community as a volunteer.

The station is funded by sponsorship from local businesses, grants from funding organisations, and our own fundraising in the community. Our mission is to develop 92.5 Phoenix FM to its full potential as a vibrant community radio station whose management and programming is based on community access and participation, and which reflects the special interests and needs of the listenership of the Dublin 15 community that the Station is licensed to serve.
