Talking Climate Change

Talking Climate Change is discussing climate issues with our youngest generation and those with most to lose from global warming. Students, teachers and experts have been invited to discuss the local and global aspects of climate change for this educational show that’s answering the big questions that face society.

Talking Climate Change is allowing students, teachers and climate experts and campaigners to come and talk about climate change and focus on local actions that can be part of a global solution.

D15 Schools with weather stations are linking up to make weather service for D15 with a focus on the global warming issue. Many of the primary schools in Fingal have set up automatic weather stations (AWS) and are collecting the available data and we are creating a single average weather forecast for Dublin 15 area, to be broadcasted at the top of the hour. All schools that are taking part are getting involved and are putting together the talking points and presenting in this weekly radio show that’s focusing on the local weather and the global climate.

Talking Climate Change is funded by AWS inCommunities Fingal Fund via ChangeX.org.
