Live OB from Powerstown Educate Together

92.5 Phoenix FM Broadcast its Saturday Soundbytes program from the Official Opening of Powerstown Educate Together National School, between 3pm and 5pm Last Saturday 21st of April. Interviewees and contributors on the day included Minister Joan Burton (pictured above), Minister Leo Varadkar(pictured below), Emily Logan Ombudsman for Children(pictured Bottom), Paul Rowe CEO of Educate Together and Principle Helena Regan. Minister Burton, Herself a former pupil of an Educate Together National School stressed the importance of choice in education in the Ireland of today, Whilst Minister Varadkar lauded the diversity in Irish Schools, Joking that when he was in school he "Was the diversity in his school."
