At 3pm for 5-7 yr olds
And 4pm for 8-10 yr olds

Poet Mary O’ Donnell will be giving a poetry reading on Thursday 28th January at 7pm.
Mary’s latest collection is The Place of Miracles.
Our next talk in the Surviving the Recession series is by MABS (Money Advice & Budgeting Service) and will take place on Thursday 14th January at 7pm.
And the library are starting free language classes in the New Year…
Irish-language classes aimed at beginner and improver levels begin on Monday 11th January at 7pm
English and Spanish classes for beginners start Wednesday 13th January at 7pm
French for beginners start Thursday 14th January at 7pm.

A new local history society, the Blanchardstown and District Heritage Society, meets in Blanchardstown library on Saturdays from 2pm to 3.30pm. All enquires to Aingeal on 0868438812
The Morning book club will meet on Thursday 14th January at 10.30am and will discuss the novel Ravel by French writer Jean Echenoz.
The Evening Book club will next meet on Thursday 14th January at 7pm and will discuss American Rust by Philip Meyer
The Junior Book Club meets each Wednesday from 4.00-5.00pm

A conversation exchange takes place in Blanchardstown Library every Wednesday from 7.00pm-8.20pm. This group provides the opportunity to practice speaking English.
St. Brigid's Photography Group meets in Blanchardstown Library every Wednesday from 7.00pm-8.20pm. New Members are always welcome
Blanchardstown Library Parent & Toddler Group meets every Tuesday & Wednesday morning from 11am-12 noon
Irish Multiple Birth Association meets every Thursday 10.30am-12 noon
There is a yoga class every Monday at 7pm.
GROW, which is a Mental Health Organisation that helps people who suffer from mental health problems, have a group meeting every Wednesday at 11am.

A Photographic exhibition by Claire McGlinchey entitled The Window of Nature will be on display for the month of December
The Books written by local schoolchildren for the Europe Direct ‘Make a Book’ project will be on display in the Library from 25th January to 12th February
And for anyone who has a child with special needs -
the library has educational toys like Facial Expression Puppets and also self-help material available for loan.
And if you don’t have a computer and you want to look up something on the internet, you can do so in the library. Anyone can join the library and it is free.
Blanchardstown Library have their own radio show here on Phoenix FM at 7.30pm on a Friday with lots of interviews, music and book reviews.
