Phoenix FM gets an upgrade!

Exciting news, everyone! Phoenix FM has recently received a technological upgrade! Thanks to the generous support of the ‘Fingal County Council Community Department Grant.’ This grant has enabled us to improve our operations with a range of new system upgrades for our office.

With the funding from the grant, we were able to invest in systems provided by ‘Celtic Repairs,’ a local computer store located in the Coolmine Industrial Estate.

As part of this upgrade Phoenix FM has purchased four new laptops from ‘Celtic Repairs’ dedicated for office use. These additions aim to make the process of editing and producing shows and content faster and more efficiently.

Additionally in our upgrade bundle we were provided with a a high-end system tower allocated for the studio. This system now hosts the studio’s software, resulting in a substantial increase in our processing power. This improves the ability of Phoenix FM to produce higher quality content recordings and a quicker production of both live and pre-recorded shows, which improves the overall broadcasting experience for our studio.

We extend our gratitude to the Fingal County Council for recognizing the importance of the local media and fostering community growth, and to thank Celtic Repairs for providing Phoenix FM with such great upgrades.
