Safer Together Summer Festival 2024

Safer Together Summer Festival

This year the Safer Together Summer Festival took place on the 8th of July at Millennium Park. Phoenix FM was present to soak in the festivities and interact with the attendees.

This year’s event was even bigger than the last, featuring a variety of attractions including live music, dancing, football, carnival games, basketball, and kite flying. On the main stage, Zumba, Savage Martial Arts, Ger Conroy Fitness, and Entwine showcased how to get the body moving, along with live performances from Steam Machine, K Star, Ronnie and the Pacemakers, ACHIEVE, and Phoenix FM’s very own DJs Snuffy and Glabsy.

There were also plenty of stalls offering food, crafts, and market goods, as well as information stands and a crazy golf course. Blanchardstown Library hosted storytelling sessions and a magic show, while the Gardaí, Civil Defence, and St John’s Ambulance showcased their equipment and services.

The festival’s grand finale, supporting Suicide Awareness D15, included the highly anticipated colour run. To top off the event, visitors were treated to a performance by D15’s top boy band, ACHIEVE, capping off a day filled with fun, community spirit, and meaningful activities!
