Coolmine Sports Centre has been running our Swim Instruction programme for over 40 years with many of our young beginners going on to become National swimming Champions.
Each class includes several sections, with children divided by ability (armbands, beginners, improvers, and advanced.)We recommend armbands for all beginners, allowing the basic skills to develop while maintaining a safe environment. We also recommend that first time swimmers should be introduced to the swimming pool before starting swim lessons, we have Parent & Child sessions specifically for this purpose.
Swim lessons cost €80 for an 10 week term (€87.50 for 45 min classes) and you will also need Basic membership to join.(€30 p/year for children). Times here.
