Safer Blanchardstown

The Safer Together Summer Festival took place on the 17th of June in the Millennium Park with the support of Fingal County Council. PhoenixFm was there to witness and take part in the event.

The event was full of dancing and activities from around the world with the Laya Indian dancing followed by the Salsa dancing. Later that day members of the community got to experience some Pulsating Zumba.

Kids will also be able to take part in a demonstration for ‘Martial Arts For Kids‘ with the hope it would promote more children to become more active.

Ger Conroy Fitness will be there to encourage people to take part in a warmup exercise to show the benefits of being more active.

To end the event the park took part in a colour run where balls of dye were tossed into the air showering colour across all members of the community attending the event!
