Phoenix FM: Highlights of March & April

Welcome to the March & April edition of Phoenix FM Highlights, We are looking back at the voices, stories and standout moments during these months, here at Phoenix FM!

Here are the shows that kept our airwaves buzzing during March & April.

D15 Today – The interviews on D15 Today are always interesting and for this month our standout guest is Ciaran Staunton from Fingal County Council taking to us about Explore Fingal.

Phoenix Film – Dáire attended the “Dublin International Film Festival” and interviewed various people from the festival including Organisers, Filmmakers and Actors.

Street Feast 2026 – PhoenixFM was invited to Street Feast 2026 and interviewed various people from the event including the founder of the event.

Dave Hughes Tribute – Unfortunately, this past April a beloved member of our community passed away. PhoenixFM decided to honour all the work Dave Hughes did for us here at Phoenix and for his community over the years with a special tribute.

Believe Balbriggan – The Phoenix FM team had the pleasure of attending the Believe Balbriggan Expo on Saturday, April the 11th. It was an event bringing together local organisations, businesses, and community leaders in a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere. You can see more of our coverage on our website here.

National Learning Network – Seán and Jeremie from PhoenixFM worked with a training group from NLN to teach them all about radio. The culmination of this was a live show where they discuss various topics of their choosing.

Jigsaw – Jigsaw is a mental health charity that provides support for young people. Seán from Phoenix attended their event in April where he interviewed people from the event to give us some much needed insights.

Think Before You Buy – Think Before You Buy is a anti-drug awareness campaign aimed at showing the impact drugs have on our communities, This is our coverage of the event.
